It's been a sunny and hot week in Cape Town, i went swimming nearly everyday. I feel I am not ready for autumn, don't feel I used the summer heat enough and spent enough time in the water, so knowing that the weather could change any day, I am making full use of this heat.
Tuesday was my Clay Cafe day, even though it was great, I have to admit I missed it on Thursday- maybe I am more of a routine person than I would like to admit?
Lots of thoughts are swirling through my head at the moment, been busy ordering them- will be able to tell you about them this week hopefully.
Bought my first Rowan Magazine (yeay!) am really excited about it- making myself think that I can knit well enough to actually do those great cardigans.... I also picked up some more wool and started on my sleeveless cardigan. At the moment its looking great (ok it not much more than ribbing at the moment but still I like it :)) (ravelry-link)
We went to see Slumdog Millionaire! It's such a brilliant movie and deserves every nomination it got! I can only advise people to go and watch it. Beautiful cinematography and a great scrip make this a good watch. I don't want to reveal to much, but I don't think anybody has made a film about India like this. It shows its slums, which is unique already, in it's ugliness but also its beauty and wonders. Just fabulous! Oh not to mention that I was really endeared about the the way the whole filmcrew were sticking together at the oscars. Have you seen it? what did you think?
Have a great week
xo

i really enjoy your weekly reviews. we haven't seen the movie, but it's on our list.
swimming outside sounds like such a foreign concept to me right now! i can't even imagine it! (come back in about four months, though, and i'll be talking about the same thing!)
your photos are so great
Sounds like a great week - wish I could go swimming! Oh and I love Slumdog too - so good!
