Pretty Ugly

scaffolding love

boxed

I have a thing for scaffolding- which is by now public knowledge- and pretty ugly things. You know when its so ugly its cool again? Especially if it's architecture. I kinda love these two buildings - their total lack of beauty make me wonder what was the architect thinking... But the utter ugly structure transforms into a really pretty pattern... which I kinda dig. Guess that makes me kinda weird? Or I unwittingly got what the architecture was trying to achieve?
Nah, I rather stick with being kinda weird

Happy weekend!

PS: I got tons of photos I haven't shared during my long absence... so be prepared for an overload of my photography

Monochrome City dwelling

Some snaps taken over the last few weeks. I'm enjoying the light the fair cape is sporting these days and love watching the Capetonians  relax while enjoying the wonderful weather... Hello Summer!

Enjoy your weekend!!

Review of my week

It was a week of research and edits. Intermingled with flu and the decision to make it a 3day weekend.
For some reason also managed to carry round a camera with an empty battery for most of the week. And when I finally remembered to charge it, i forgot to put it back into to the camera i still was holing around... I am not sure if it was tragic or comical, when it took me more than 5 minutes to figure out why my camera wasn't working, panic attack and all....
Spring is upon the Cape and the light is fabulous for snaps. The whole place is screeming pretty and happy at this moment. LOTS of flowers around and many happy faces!
Now that I managed to charge the camera battery and actually put it back into the camera I might manage to take more snaps this week.
