Bench Mess

This week on my Jewellery Bench:
Simple organic shapes- different finishes, textures and materials...

On my work bench

...are lots of simple organic shapes at the moment.
Each has been given different textures and finishes as they are fashioned into bracelets
The one above made it straight from my work bench onto my arm... love its simplicity - but stacking these would be fun too!

My creative space...

On my needles...

..is a new shawl. I'm into them, I think.
The yarn was a gift and its from Nurturing Fibres. A one of a kind from the talented Carle (my favorite!). The pattern is from Ysolda,an Ishbel.


On my bench...

...is brass and copper.
A first for me. Thought I try it out....am not sure I like working with it. The results are not too bad.


On my Screen...

I am editing slowly through the pics I took on my two road trips

Treasure

The moment is treasure most in life are those

when my deepest part in my souls is moved by the light reflecting on the water, the petal move in the wind- totally aware and absolutely amazed

when I am like a rock washed over by the weaves of life seemingly unaffected, secretly knowing that I'm polished into something beautiful

when I am able to create something meaningful, deep from my heart - and hopefully a little treasure

when I am aware of who is with me treasuring their special gift and qualities

when time stands still for a moment , noticing that each moment is perfect in it self

when I am content and still- completely in balance with the world around me

when I am with the ones I love

those are true moments of happiness- the moments that create memories which I treasure for the rest of my life!
