Oh I was so NOT going to do it. I was really going to be good, finish my 4 started knitting project(who lay around and irritate me for taking up space), BEFORE I cast-on any other one.
But then....
I got a new sock club yarn on Friday and I looked at possible patterns for it-just for the fun of it- I really really wasn't going to start another project- oh I found one.
And I did NOT cast-on... (at that point I was SO proud of myself, I was going to give me a trophy!)
But then....
I packed the Sock Club Yarn away and I started looking at the yarns I have in my stash - just for the fun of it- I really really wasn't going to cast on....
But....
I did. (I should mention at this point, that I did so only a couple of days later..and I gave my mental trophy ashamedly back - a day later or so)
I cast on a Roma Shawl
I am using some lovely mercerised cotton I got in a department store in Switzerland and the lovely hand painted bamboo yarn I bought last year but never found a project fitting for it. (see I should have kept the trophy for the stash busting effort!)
Oh, And: Once I finished this- I really really will finish the other four project that are not done yet.... I promise!

I understand the temptation to start things and then move on to something else! The shawl looks very pretty.
I'd just love the ability to start something like this. I need these types of skills.

Try to start up new projects only in your mind, first finish what your working on ! Thats what I'm trying to do... not always easy, I know. Nice to have a look at your projects.
