Knitting update

Knitting update

Finally I got there....my knitting and crochet update
In order of the photos:
  1. Flamingos beret: crochet out of leftover organic cottons
  2. Wristwarmers: my first selfdesigned (ok designing is not exactly what you could call it) project... they are from the thumb all the way to the elbows
  3. Entralc Scarf: finally finished it- gave it to O as a gift, he loves it but refuses to model it at this point in time, its too hot
  4. My newest project, a cardigan out of Rowan Bamboo Tape, honestly I am not sure if I like the fabric it creates though... so might frogg it and put the yarn back into my stash.

That's it! A trip to the Woolstore is on the agenda for next week sometime, hopefullly.

thanks for nominating me for an inspirational blog award! if i ever start an awards event like you are i'll be nominating you too! that rowan bamboo tape is unusual. is it a yarn? and why don't you love it? is it scratchy? just curious. i'm going to add a photo or two of yours to my blog soon for people to check out your work, hope you don't mind! :) have a great weekend.........

Yes, I know what you mean by not liking the resulting fabric of Rowan Bamboo Tape. Sometimes I get attracted to a certain type of yarn but need time to find a proper pattern to work with it. If you are not happy with the result, better save the yarn for something that will be more inspirational later.
