Valentina has asked me to chose the week word for this week. Even though I had been contemplating the whole weekend I still wasn't any further yesterday night. And then I woke up this morning still sick or even sicker than the last few days, which means I will be stuck at home for another day (at least!)! My nomadic heart was aching and I looked at photos of my last trip home... suddenly I started dreaming up journeys and trips, looking at the world map thinking:" yes that would be interesting uuuhhh and I always wanted to go there..."
So the weekword is : WANDERLUST

wanderlust is a great selection, but perhaps i am biased because i am stricken with a bad case of it most days. count me in this week!
also, i enjoyed your reinvent drawing - a very postmodern feminist interpretation, using changing clothes/appearance as a tool of empowerment!

PS Your most beautiful print arrived today, thank you SO much!! You must have chosen it specially for me, for it contains two of the things I love very much (and have quite a lot of in my house): bunting (mine is made of paper, not fabric) and hearts!

hi! i'm just catching up with your blog and all of your oh-so-lovely watercolors! i think you're right, do a little of both, because i have to tell you, i did very much enjoy your more serious flowers. absolutely stunning. and i'm typically not a huge fan of watercolor. it's not my favorite medium but you give it new life for me anyway. hoping you are feeling better my friend. eat well, sleep well and keep painting. :)
